Quasar Expeditions, travel without footprints

Quasar Expeditions, a company dedicated to creating authentic, exclusive and meaningful travel experiences for adventurous travelers, has a new goal in mind: to become completely free of a carbon footprint, that is, to reduce its produced greenhouse gas emissions to 0 directly by them.

Quasar Expeditions guests travel through Torres del Paine National Park and Los Glaciares National Park mainly by car, and consequently, the trip ends up generating emissions, which affect our planet.

Therefore, as part of its strategy to offset its carbon footprint, the company set out to reforest Patagonia by planting a tree for each passenger who travels with them, regardless of the destination they travel, within Chile or Argentina. These trees are added to their virtual forest and are donated after the client finishes their trip, on their behalf.

Quasar Expeditions chose Fundación Reforestemos to carry out its new mission, and for us it is always a pride to carry out alliances with companies that resemble our spirit. In this case, we deeply highlight the work of making our forests and those corners of the country that house them, a place that must be visited. And nothing better than to do it, without leaving traces.
